    1. Lady Serena playing the part of the eccentric spinster is over done. The spy, John Macy is every bit the gentleman though. I think this would be better had I read the other books in this series first - The Fortescue Diamond followed by Delacey's Angel There were too many characters that were poorly introduced in this book. It made more sense once I realized I read them out of order.

    2. I liked Serena's role in Delacy's Angel. i found it weird, that being a duke's daughter, she talks more like a dock worker. okay plot, it was nice to see all the characters from the earlier books and their endings. very nice wrap up to the series

    3. A light-hearted regency romance about an eccentric lady author and her encounter with a retired master spy.
