    3. 4.5 “Only Us” STARS Is it weird that only when I start a L.H. Cosway book am I reminded of how much I adore her writing style? I’ve read almost all of her work and still am shocked how much I enjoy the ease in which she gifts a story. Her writing flows seamlessly while she gifts quirky heroines and to drool over heroes and this book delivers on all points. Rose Taylor is an amazing dancer but is comfortable behind the curtain working as a choreographer’s assistant. This time she is worki [...]

    4. Unpopular opinion, but this guy is my DamonThis book. What can I say? Rose and Damon are everything. LH Cosway never disappoints. She continues to deliver butterflies in the stomach and delicious heart-twisty aches in the chest. I love her books. Damon is one of my top three Cosway heroes, right up there with Viv and Shane. Though Oliver is one of my favorites, too. . . hmm. . . And Rose is, as ever, a delight. I HOPE WE GET A BOOK ABOUT JULIAN!!!!!! I LOVE HIM!I think this might be my favorite [...]

    5. 4 Stars!!Once again L.H. Cosway delivered an enthralling read that capture my heart from the beginning until the end. There’s no secret I adore her stories and her characters and I find her writing to be impeccable each and every time. 'Showmance' was not my first read that features the magnificent world of theatre, but it was without a doubt the best. Everything was stellar. From the emotions this magnificent world evoked to all the wonderful settings, everything was vividly portrayed. Needle [...]

    6. Just three quick facts (or should I say opinions) about this book:Fact #1: I love Ms. Cosway’s writing. Her style is fresh and romantic, filled with warmth, love and wit. Her characters are likable and real. She always delivers unconventional love stories with unique settings.Fact #2: There’s just something magical and mystical about theatersThe air filled with creative energy, audience waiting in anticipation, voices murmuring, hushing as the lights dim until the curtain rises and the real m [...]

    7. Damon.Damon, Damon, Damon.Yup, he's my new book boyfriend. All mine. I'll fight ya for him! Why? Because Damon Atwood is a wonderful mix of tortured, brooding artist and gruff, caring, earthiness. I absolutely loved him! He was a perfect counterpoint to heroine, Rose, a talented, romantic, warm, trusting, open young woman. She was exactly the kind of person Damon needed in his life, and as far as character development goes, perfection. I also loved how both hero and heroine had their fair share [...]

    8. Title: ShowmanceSeries: StandaloneAuthor: L.H. CoswayRelease date:May 16, 2016Cliffhanger: NoHEA(view spoiler)[Yes (hide spoiler)]I'm such a fanatic about L.H. Cosway's writing. Her stories are rich with detail and authenticity. She takes unexpected and flawed characters and makes them leap right off the pages and capture your whole imagination. Showmance was no exception, I was completely absorbed and luxuriating in the setting, the characters, and the wonderful world of theater. This is the ca [...]

    9. 5 - "What a pair we make." Stars!ITs LIVE! US - amazon/Showmance-L-H- UK - amazon/Showmance-L-B&N - barnesandnoble/w/showmI don’t think that there is another author that quite paints a picture with words as vividly with so much detail as L. H. Cosway always manages to do. Showmance is no exception, I devoured this book as I would a large bar of my favorite chocolate, you know the kind that when you look down and see just crumbs you can’t believe it’s all gone, and just how quickly you [...]

She is the assistant to her mentor; a very respected and famous choreographer in London. Dancing is everything to her.Rose has sworn off actors. Being in the business she's in, she's gotten burned too many times by some of the beautiful players of the industry. 11. Happy Book Birthday!L.H. Cosway pens an irresistibly sexy and gorgeously swoony story, with impeccable execution and dazzling delivery. Former child star Damon Atwood got a rude awakening after he reached success, won an Oscar and lost his mother. Deciding he wasn’t cut out to live with the strings that come the limelight, he severs all ties and goes to live on the island of Skye with this grandmother. After her passing almost ten years later and by her wishes he takes the leading role in a th [...]

    12. Overall, I enjoyed this book, but I also have some issues with it. I won't go into the summary of this book anymore since there are plenty of reviews out there who's done a magnificent job of doing that. So let's just start with the stuff that I did like and enjoyed. One, the characters. Damon is your perfect broken, broody hero that's so talented and yet still endearingly awkward at the same time. I enjoyed that tortured, brooding aspect of his character and liked how he slowly opened up to Ros [...]

    13. 2.5 starsL.H. Cosway is one of my top favorite authors, but I'm sad to say this one didn't really work for me. I just honestly think she's written much better books than this, and those are the ones I would recommend to anyone new to her work. Still Life with Strings, Six of Hearts, Painted Faces, Killer Queen are my personal favorites. This wasn't all bad, I was invested enough to finish it, and I did like some of the characters and the theatre backdrop. I just had too many frustrations with it [...]

    15. Rating: 4 StarsMy Views:Showmance is all the things that I expected and didn’t which is very good. I like unexpected in my reading, it keeps me guessing.Style of writing:Never doubt LH Cosway – I know that. Her writing flows like poetry. She has a way with words where she’ll paint a picture so vivid for you that you’ll see the book playing in your head.Characters: Both Rose and Damon were sweet characters. They have their ups and downs but overall they fit together – pun intended. And [...]

    16. Showmance is my first L.H. Cosway book, I loved her books with Penny Reid so I was excited to read this one. Let me tell you, I wasn’t disappointed. I actually loved every word of this one. Damon and Rose are such special, fantastic characters and watching them fall in love put a huge smile on my face. Rose is an assistant choreographer/dancer and fresh out of a bad relationship with an actor. Turning over a new leaf she has sworn off actors, no more showmances for her. Damon isn’t your typi [...]

    17. 4.5 Big StarsIn a heartbeat, every look we’d shared flashed through my mind, from that initial fleeting glance across the dance studio the first time I’d heard him sing, to this one. This one that told me I owned his heart, his soul, his everything.I'm still fanning myself a lil' bit after experiencing the hottness that is Damon and Rose. I need to start by saying one thing: L.H. Cosway can write! Glad I got that off my chest. From the moment these two awkwardly connect, I felt the strong mag [...]

    18. 5 "Need Me" StarsL.H. Cosway became one of my favorite authors after I read Painted Faces. Showmance is another masterpiece from this talented author. I'm not sure how she does it, but she creates quirky and remarkable characters that also seem so real and are completely honest. Damon and Rose are now atop my favorite characters list because of their authenticity and their ability to pull me into the story. I fell in love from page one and am in full on infatuation with this beauty of a book. I [...]

    19. ***4.5 stars***Amazing, interesting characters and even more interesting storyline! I was totally absorbed in Damon and Rose’s story. The main focus here is to never give up on your dream, no matter what gets thrown in your way. After being away from the spotlight almost for a decade, Damon Atwood makes his acting career comeback in a musical show on London’s West End with a lead role. Rose is the choreographer’s assistant. Although she is very beautiful and an excellent dancer, she suffer [...]

    20. 3 stars Short review. While I enjoyed this newest book from LH Cosway, I was not blown away by it. I loved the concept and idea of the book, a choreographer and an actor falling in love. But the indecisiveness of the characters and the high school behavior just didn't work for me. I loved Julian and really hope he gets his own book somewhere down the line.Anyways like I said I enjoyed this, I just didn't love it. Please don't tell me you're sorry. Thanks!

    21. "I’ll always pick you first, petal.” 5 STARS! ★★★★★You know that feeling where you just put down a read and all you want to do is scream out from the rooftops how amazing it was? I've been sitting at work all day with a goofy smile on my face every time I think about this read! If Showmance was a real life musical play, I'd be in the front row audience giving it a standing ovation and demanding for an encore. Rose & Damon's story was a tantalizing performance that will hypnotis [...]

    22. I have said this before that one of the things that I love about L. H. Cosways writing is the genuineness and warmth that I am left feeling while reading her stories. Her characters continue to be endearing, vibrant and unique. While I did get all of this and I did enjoy the story, Showmance didn’t end up being that perfect 5 star book for me. For a good stretch of the book my rating was a steady 3.5 stars but the last chapter and Epilogue pushed it up a bit. Damon Atwood and Rose Taylor found [...]

    23. ★★★ 3 Stars ★★★I always look forward to new books from LH Cosway, her writing is uniquely engaging, and her stories are so rich in detail and character depth. She takes you on a journey, and it's easy to believe you are actually part of everything that is taking place within the pages. Our heroine, Rose Taylor, is a talented West End choreographer who has an unfortunate knack of falling for the actors who are under her tuition. Having recently been burnt by a cocaine sniffing tosspot [...]

    24. ❝If I couldn't have Rose, I was condemning myself to a life of halves, and I wanted to live a whole one.❞If you want to read a thoroughly entertaining, feel-good book, then you need to pick up Showmance, by L. H. Cosway. With this book, Cosway brings us her trademark flawed characters, along with a sassy, strong heroine. Showmance is a surefire winner!Damon has been a recluse for years, running from the very things that brought him his fortune; people, fans, attention. Going from a relativel [...]

    25. Showromance was my first book by L.H Cosway alone. I read the two books she wrote with Penny Reid. As I loved these two, I wanted to experience what she could write alone. I still haven't read anything by Penny Reid (I know I will soon) and I wanted to wait for Showromance to be released to read L.H Cosway. The blurb got my attention right away. I'm very much interested in everything related to music, art, movie, actors, I want to say that even if I didn't adore this one as much as I thought I w [...]

    26. Low-angst romance set among a London West-end stage production between the male lead H and the assistant choreographer h. Both of them are very sweet though the H is a gruff introvert, while h is a sunny extrovert. If it was only the h/H and their romance I'd rate it 5 stars, bcos they were just so right together; but the media romance aspects of it - drugged up actors, people and tabloids wanting a piece of them etc. was irritating. Luckily the h/H navigated it all with good communication so no [...]

    27. 2.5 Stars“You,” he paused, frowned, then tried again. “You captivate me.”This is quite possibly the HARDEST review we’ve ever had to write because this was one of our most anticipated new releases for 2016 by one of our favourite, automatic 1click authors. We couldn’t wait to dive into Showmance – after all, we’ve loved everything this author has written: be it solo or as a collaboration, so our excitement was at stratospheric levels for this read!So it is with the heaviest of he [...]

    28. Showmance is only the second book I’ve read that L.H. Cosway has written independently, but I have to say she has a knack for writing damaged heroes. I was captivated by Damon Atwood, the leery and painfully socially awkward former child star making his stage debut in Moulin Rouge on London’s West End. Rose is a choreographer’s assistant who has been burned in the past by falling for shallow actors. Despite her best attempts to guard her heart, she is understandably drawn to Damon and deci [...]

    29. 4 stars!!!! Damon!!! Hot hot hot!!!!! I love me a sweet fisherman that knows how to sing!!!! Damon is my favorite character in this book. Rose was good, she didn't annoyed me too much! ;) This story is about a child star that is starting over after many years of not acting, his grandmother's death wish was for him to act again. And a choreographer who didn't want anything to do with actors, after getting burned too many times. What will happen when destiny has them work together. ;).

    30. I tried, I really did and I wanted to love this book so much, because L.H. Cosway's writing is phenomenal, but it just wasn't in the cards for me. I ended up skimming through out majority of this book, but I have to admit, I do have a teeny tiny problem with slow burn romance, and boy this one was slow. It just wasn't my thing.
