    1. Overall book rating: 3 Stars Audio book: N/A Book Cover: 3.5 Stars MC1: Lucas MC2: DeanThis review is a combination of all 4 books. When I started with the first book I thought " Ok, this can get interesting" well it was interesting but it was not a great series - lots of holes with to much space to think to much. The last book just left me hanging as if it's not done. I don't like to hang ok!! If you just want something to keep you occupied in between reads then yes, this will do just fine.

    2. I received a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest & unbiased review. It was good to get another installment of the series but I was surprised and saddened that the author doesn't (at this time) intend to write any more in the series. I had hoped that things would move forward with the guys' relationship (maybe to mating) but that isn't the case. Bran, Lucas's vampire friend is back but Alex and Martin are away for the summer so we don't get some of the warm camaraderie of the othe [...]

    3. Title? Explanation PleaseThis episode actually is a follow up and has nothing to do with the HvZ game, but the boys moving in together and getting a family visit. I really liked that Dean wants Lucas to be himself not pretend. But then he also wants him to get along with grannie and how do you accomplish both at the same time? Seems impossible. And what about Lucas's family? Even though he's old enough and not relying on them for school, he's still close to his family so what was their reaction [...]

    4. First, the title of the book, Ripping Into the Darkness, and the story do not go together. Was a bit confused. Of the four books, this was my least favorite. I understood the development of the two primary characters, Lucas and Dean but there is a lot left unanswered as far as these characters are concerned and that is very disappointing. I do like the fact that there was realism in paranormal storyannie and Lucas are not going to be the best of buds, never going to happen. So not the best in th [...]

    5. Issues - still cannot reconcile the title and contents; doesn't read as an ending; no HVZ; shifter hearing grandma/loud partner sex. Applaudible - introduces some real life issues (living with a significant other and dealing with ingrained ideas (although it could have been pushed further); better writing and editing

    6. This series is amazing. The author even more so.Well for starters it was well written and enjoyable. I got lost within the book easily. I laughed quite a bit and got angry with the characters. A good read for sure!!!!

    7. I have only two real problems with this book, in that there wasn't much in the way of HvZ in it,And that it is the last of the series. I hope that the author decides to continue it further at a later point.
