    1. Very good book.e way QRG has invested his heart and soul into building this global brand is commendable. Very good narrative by QRG's sonRead it know about Havells and it's journey to build a consumer electrical brand

    2. A decent read on the Havells' story with useful insights. Misses out on reasons for some of the critical decisions made by QRG which made Havells what it is today.

    3. A good read for a multitude of reasons:1. This basically is a fanboy account of a son, who has seen his father grow a business from a small scale to big international brand2. Even then, the book provides a dispassionate account of the events that occurred, the business rationale for taking those decisions, and the sorts.3. The author provides a first-hand account of machinations in a family run business. The succession plan, the circumspect father, the break-ups, the handovers et al. I found it [...]

    4. The inspiring story of how an ambitious, hard working and unassuming man started as a trader with a few thousand rupees and built Havells into the premium brand it is today. The book is as much a story of the company as it is of Qimat Rai Gupta; the two are inseparable. The author discusses at length marketing, branding, strategy, financial intricacies and operations of the company through its journey. It gives rare insight into how a successful business was built on the foundation of ethics, ho [...]

    5. Quite a candid account of 1st/2nd generation entrepreneurs, who have not been a part of any new age industry and hence not celebrated. While a son's account of family/father could be one dimensional, this book refreshingly is different. Anil's account is frank view as is on life and times of Havells touching upon various facets of relationship between father-sons and interspersed with anecdotes. You will enjoy this conversational book.

    6. Every thing there is inspiring, and a kind of story that I always wanted to read. The numbers are very less, that's why a star less. Overall a good book to go through. Could be more deep and in a chronological way.
