    1. The cover drew me to the book. Had I know it was romance I probably wouldn’t have read it, as I haven’t read romance novels in decades. It was young romance; therefore, it took me back to another time during my reading career. I’m not the best person to review this book. The book had some interesting plots. This book was complete within itself even though it was part of a series. I surmised some of the previous events. The author did a good job in referencing them. I think though if I had r [...]

    2. I thought this book was the best yet. The writing was beautiful and flowed in a way that makes you want to keep reading. The secrets came out and I felt the pain from them. Just everything in this book held my interest. The characters took on a deeper meaning. I loved getting to know Frankie on a more serious level. I can't imagine that this is book five and the Saga only has one left. I just want to continue to be a part of their lives. Great story and even if you picked up this book alone. It [...]

    3. Loved it. Love the characters. Love the story. Love how the relationships build and the characters grow. I definitely want to read the four books before this one and I can't wait to read book 6! Started this book last night, couldn't wait to finish it!It's 2 am, I need to sleep now!

    4. APRIL’s SECRET STORM is a story of evolving relationships—some of them stormy—between an ensemble of wonderful characters, each coming from a different place and has a different outlook on life. Their journey is part of the series (SEASONS OF LOVE AND WAR SAGA) and I found it fascinating to watch them change over the course of the story. Blake who says “Don’t fall in love, because I don’t do Commitments of any kind.” Ginger, who introduces herself, “Just call me Ginger Rogers.” [...]

    5. This was such a surprise. This book was recommended to me and I read it. I want to go back and read all her books. This one was close to home and I could relate to Kaylob. Being lied to and told things later on instead of when your young, can blow your world apart. Brenda Barry was able to make these people come alive. Her characters were complex and felt like someone I would hang out with. Great job and I can't wait to read the other books.

    6. Soo i started reading this book and thought that some parts were not given a lot of details like the kidnapping, past lovers etc. but then i realized that it was actually book four in the series. Ooops.Anyway besides that when i figured out and found out the basics of the other novels i continued on because it was such a fantastic story! The family aspect of this story was brilliant, with Beth Ann and Kaylob being a happily married coupe, and the other two couples that play a part in the story.I [...]

    7. Let me start by saying that I do not usually read love stories or romance novels, but this book was so well written that I hardly thought about the genre. There was such depth to the characters combined with a beautiful flow and pace to the story that, before I knew it, I was absorbing the last few words. Frankie was a character that I can definitely relate to and found myself being reminded of my past many times while learning about his life. There is a different dimension to this love story th [...]

    8. This is the fifth book I've read in this saga, so I feel like the characters are old friends. It was great to visit with the familiar ones and to meet some new ones whose stories add a whole new dimension to this fabulous saga. This installment is a fabulous mix of gorgeous locations, complicated family dynamics, humor, nostalgia, and a love story between the main characters that is timeless and heartwarming. I can't believe there's only one more book to go! I know I will miss these people and t [...]

    9. This was wonderful and touched me deeply. Kaylob finding out all the family secrets and trying to deal with what Beth Ann was going through. It was great to see how he handled it. The romance between Frankie and Shawna was not only sweet but very humorous and had me laughing out loud. Everything in this book was done so well. It made me cry, get angry and laugh. All the emotions. It had be pacing as I waited for the next installment.

    10. I loved this book. I got it for free on the condition I give an honest review. This is a book continuing on the saga of Beth Ann, Kaylob and their families. When Kaylob goes to Ireland to see his aunt, he gets a nasty surprise. Now he and Beth Ann will have to deal with it. When they get home, things just get more complicated. And everyone else around them will have to fight their own battles in this interesting chapter of the Seasons of Love and War saga. If you love romance, please do pick up [...]

    11. This was my favorite book out of all the books. The whole story about Kaylob finding out long hidden secrets and finding out about Beth Ann. I love Shawna and Frankie's Romance. It was really cute. The whole mystery with the woman that Blake meets is wonderful and I just finished book six. i was not disappointed. Took me two days. I couldn't put it down and didn't do anything until I was done. I know this is not the end but waiting so long is going to drive me crazy. A big fan. A great saga.
