    1. A charming, delightful book! I found the dialogue a little stilted, but then considered that was probably a reflection of the way they spoke back then. The story of Annie's life, and then of Henry's search to discover the truth years later, really gripped me. I found the big reveal a little too abrupt, but the way it worked out afterwards was really heart-warming. Highly recommended.
