    1. Reread -- 2/18/2017 Priest and Milan was one of my favorite couples in The Romanian Mob series. Priest remained corrupt but it took Milan to make him change his ruthless ways! My rating remains the same!____________________________________________________________Kaye Blue's "War" was another thrilling addition to the Romanian Mob Chronicles series. Priest, my favorite 'criminal' among these ruthless mob men was attending Vasile Petran's wedding when gunfire starts . Unfortunately, he was automat [...]

    2. Wow Another fine job by Kaye Blue. War is the continuing Chronicles of the Romanian mob stories. In this installment we have the love journey of Priest and Milan. These two could not be more different on the surface. Priest is his own man he's good-looking he dresses impeccably and he has an air about him basically don't f*ck around with me or else. Now Malan is a worker bee she works for a catering company she's trying to save her money so any overtime she gets she takes. These two collide lite [...]

    3. **I received an ARC from author/publisher in exchange for an honest review**Wow, I just couldn't wait for Priest's book. He has been one of the most fascinating characters in this series for me. And let me tell you, his book did not disappoint. Every time a new book in this series comes out, I say it's my favorite. I just can't imagine it getting any better but it always does. What a talented author. After reading this, it makes me want to start over on the series again. I love all the character [...]

    5. This is Priest and Milan's story. Milan was the right woman to stand with and see right through Priest. A woman finally figured him out and saw Nikolai the real him and loved him for him.I absolutely loved this story it was a great read. I love this whole series.

    6. *I received this book as an ARC for an honest review*Of all the books in the Romanian Mob Chronicles, "Keep" has always been my favorite, but after reading "War", I find "Keep" lacking. The reason why is because "War" is the only book in the series where the chemistry between the hero and the heroine leap of the pages. The chemistry between Priest and Milan was undeniable in this book and I loved it. They were a perfect match!! I loved that Milan was just as strong and brave as Priest in her ver [...]

    7. yes yes yes!!! Priest!!i've been wanting to read his story from the moment he appeared in this series and boy did his story not disappoint one moment!we delve into the head of priest, see why he acts the way he does. but you also see his journey to accepting the one thing he always denied himself, the one big danger in his line of work. there is nothing priest wouldn't do to keep her safe!milan is tired, having been bribed by her housemate to take over working at this wedding. just when she's re [...]

    8. I received for a honest review. Milan had not idea how bad of a day she was getting ready to have when her best friend talked her into taking her place catering a wedding. Milan could tell these people were dangerous. She was so glad when it was over and she could head to her car and go home. what she was not expecting was gun fire and being kidnapped. It is good to see a story on Priest. We get to learn more about him in this book. He was surprised to be invited to Vasile Petran’s wedding. Va [...]

    9. Eh,it was ok. Priest and Milan, met during a wedding where he was a guest and she was a part of the wait staff, when bullets start flying Priest finds himself in Milans car. With a killer on their tails, this unlikely couple hit the road to try and stay alive and one step ahead of the killer. This book wasn't a bad ,it just didn't hold my attention. It took me forever to finish it. The premise was great, two people thrown together, forced to trust each other to stay alive, that's sounds like literar [...]

    10. I liked the story but the grammar and repetitive words annoyed me! I liked the story but the grammar and repetitive words annoyed me!All I kept hearing in the end was 'she said' 'he said' on repeat, the vocabulary was poor! I've never noticed it in this authors other stories and I've read all the Romanian mob chronicles, I really like the stories so it pains me to write this review. I just found the use or lack of use, of vocabulary really poor so therefore it stopped me enjoying the story more. [...]

    12. I loved Priest throughout this series, and I enjoyed reading his story. Looking forward to the new series.

    13. Not as GoodPriest and Milan were just okay. Their interactions didn't resonate with me as well as the characters in the other "mob" chronicles. There were also quite a few editing issues with irritated me and the storyline wasn't as interesting. In any event, I will order book #6 and continue with the series. So far, Vasile, Fawn, Sorin and Esther are my favorites.

    14. Love Priest and MilanMilan is carjacking after catering the wedding of Visile and Fawn. The attraction between her and Priest is palatable, but they initially fight it. When Milan is endangered, the two go on the run and their inevitable attraction comes to a head in some steamy scenes. Although some things are quizzical and too easily presented, such as Priest's enemy, his motive, and how he so easily finds Priest, we get to see more of Priest's past and affiliations. Although I like Visile, I [...]

    15.             *** Received a copy from the author in exchange for an honest review ***Another amazingly written novel from the series and I loved it. This is the unification of Priest and Milan. Priest (Nikolai) is a dark, moody, ruthless nomad mobster, who provides information and product to the clan for a price. Milan is a young, strong woman that was working for the catering company handling Vasile's wedding. After the clean-up detail, Milan exit the back door to her car and all he?? break [...]

    16. I had read some of the other books in the Romanian Mob series. It was interesting to see Priest get his story this time. He is a very intriguing character with an unknown past. He works among the clans without any clan of his own. Milan is the perfect woman for him. She is strong and determined and even when in extreme danger she manages to keep her calm. She is working a wedding in the catering staff and doesn't expect a shooting and all that follows. They have a real connection from the first [...]

    17. Brace Yourself (Just That Good)!!I've been searching for the right words to say how good this book actually is and right now the only one I can come up with is fantastic! This was one well written fleshed out story with all the mystery and sexiness you can stand. The relationship between Priest and Milan is good that they act like a couple who's been together forever and the way she reads him is so good. This is one pulse pounding sexy mystery romance and you are going to be drawn in from the word [...]

    18. I received this as a ARC for an honest review. It was good, not my favorite but still enjoyable. This story was about Milan and Priest fated to be in each other lives due to violence but in the end came together and fell in love. I loved Milan she was brave and independent and saw Priest for who he really was a bad ass with a gentle soul.Their bond was unbreakable even though for Priest this feeling of love was all new to him but Milan refused to give up on him. I recommend everyone to read this [...]

    19. I had received advance copy for a honest review. This is a story of Priest and Milian. Priest is a character that we've seen through out the serious, he's a bit mysterious. You know he's dangerous, but yet it seems like everyone wants to take him out.The begins at a wedding, unforeseen issues happen at wedding that force Milian and Priest together. Innocent people were murder. Milian and Priest were running for their lives. Their was high drama likes it was telenovela. I love it. I honestly coul [...]

    20. ***I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review*** I have really enjoyed the Romanian Mob Chronicles and was excited to finally get into Priests' story since he had been so mysterious. Well I definitely was not disappointed. Priest and Milan have such an amazing connection and I was also glad we were able to get a Vasile and Fawn update as well as a great segway into the next series. Kaye Blue did another great job!

    21. When her roommate talks her into working a wedding she still has reservations Milan has an uneasy feeling about the whole thing. Someone is after Priest but he doesn't know who. Now he is on the run with Milan trying to find out who wants them dead after shooting up a mob wedding.I received an advanced copy of this book for an honest review. This is book 5 of Romanian Mob Chronicles by the author. A gripping mob story that will have you on the edge of your seat until the end of the book.

    22. Close callI love these Chronicles !! Milan warming Priests cold heart was so phenomenal , and I really started to believe in the end that he would stick to his final words on their relationship ( trying not to spoil anything) . Wonderful addition to this series. I am looking forward to more of this series.

    27. I've been looking forward to reading about the mysterious Priest. Nicely done! Now, anxiously awaiting the series on The Syndicate.Keep the good stories coming, Ms. Blue.

    28. This one didn't do it for me. Compared to the other chronicles it missed depth and the writing was all over the place. Still love priest but felt it was missing a "je ne sais quoi"!
