    1. This is 4 stars for a hot and steamy novella not to be confused with a 4 star serious read.Great hero and heroine, love the alpha aliens. The story was decent and had decent conflict (although a bit predictable)I liked how the heroine grew a pair of balls and gave it back to her father.I wished it had a little more sci-fi feel but it was enough to get by.The sex scenes were okay, I was expecting them to be longer and spicier but they were not.I'd recommend it and will think about reading more of [...]

    2. 4.25 stars!I actually really liked this SFR. This is the first in the series I have read, and it worked fine as a standalone. The only thing missing was that I didn't have a clear picture of what Vallar looked like. But the romance was really sweet. There was some emotion thrown in there with what Vallar had been through and his PTSD. Despite the fact that this was a pretty low-angst romance (relationship-wise), it actually kind of hurt a bit to imagine myself in his shoes, having been through w [...]

    3. 3.5 starsEmbracing Emily is another quick, fun read in theWarriors of Kelonseries. I hope that Ms. Castle will continue to add to this series, which I recommend for whenever you are in the mood for some light, sci-fi/erotic romance fun.

    4. Because this is currently favorite genre (Mars needs Women), I might have rated this book higher than others would have. I just love the fantasy of a planet of big hot alien warriors who flip their lids over Earth girls. (shrug)This book maintains the same yummy standard Aussie Angela Castle has set for this series.-= SPOILERS =-The book begins with a group of Kelon warriors hunting down the human women that the other/bad aliens kidnapped and were using as breeders. Commander Vallarr has walked [...]

    5. An excellent story, though heavier on the sex than the others in the series. would love to read more, but the author seems to have dropped off the face of the Earth.

    6. This series has definitely warmed as it's gone along and I really enjoyed this one. I loved Emily for how strong she is and I appreciated what she represented to Vallarr and how she helped him as well.

On [...]

    8. An emotionally broken, Kelon Warrior, Vallarr, is sent to Earth to be the security commander for Kelon scientists and healers. His failled mission to save some human females left him with PTSD and his Kelon society was not equipped to identify and deal with his "issue".Emily Morland, partially paralyzed in her youth after a poli fever, is assigned the task of teaching English to the Kelons. She takes an instant likeness to Vallarr and the feeling was mutual. Emily was able to see past Vallorr's [...]
