    1. This was a weird, entertaining little volume. It sort of shifts gears halfway through from an inverted Wicked + Divine type deal to stuff that seems semi-autobiographical, and it gets kind-of-but-not-quite pretentious in the latter half of the process. It never quite pushes that boundary into annoyance, though, and makes for a spirited read in its various forms.
