    1. Rigel Bryant is the only known natural telepath in the known universe. The other two telepaths, his father and pseudo-grandmother (Kaia) but they were experimented on by an alien and gained their powers that way. They now wear a device called a thought blocker. That device is able to block the thoughts of the people around them so they aren’t listening to other people’s thoughts all the time. 2. Having not read the first two books in the series I was a little apprehensive to read Sentinel, worried that I wouldn’t be able to understand the world that had been built over the course of the first two books. However the synopsis was too intriguing to pass on and boy am I glad I didn’t because I absolutely LOVED Sentinel! I was drawn into the story within the first page and could definitely be read as a standalone. I rated it a 4/5 stars! Rigel is the son of Ethan and Aria who were the pr [...]

    3. I rated this book 3.5 starsBook 3 of the Caretaker Chronicles, Sentinel. I recieved a copy of Sentinel in exchange for my honest review. So thank you Future House Publishing for the opportunity.Sentinels is about the Caretakers psychic son, Rigel. Who has manipulated those around him since childhood. He’s selfish and a little corrupt, making his journey through the book all the sweeter. Sentinels captures the complexity of relationships. Rigel’s family have made excuses for his behaviour unt [...]

    4. **I recieved a copy of Sentinel in exchange for my honest review. ***I would give this a 3.5 star rating. I was reminded of Star Wars when Rigel was looking for parts in outdoor markets and shops and found an antidote in one of the shops. The shop owners were all different species. The Fiyl reminded me of the NZT pills from the movie [...]
