    1. This was a beloved favorite from fifth grade--one of the few books in the small children's room of the base library in Germany to strike a chord with me. Unfortunately, I'd forgotten both the title and the author. But recently I remembered them and found the book again. It's still lovely, though more episodic than what I'd remembered.The Welsh dragon Caradoc used to be the terror of the countryside, until he was driven out and finally landed on the small island of an Irish hermit named MacDara.     2. A cute, fun little read, with gorgeous illustrations.I'm glad there's a Welsh glossary included in this edition, otherwise I'd've gone around the rest of my life mispronouncing the dragon's name as 'CARE-a-dok' instead of 'car-RAD-ok'. LOL
