    1. Out of 10 stories to read I picked 2: Poison & Fire by Adela Darken; Bitter Ashes by Sara C. Roethle. Poison & Fire is book one in the series Undead Adventures. This is a story of wizardry and the undead. Adela is an apprentice to the Wizen Bunion and she is learning to be the next great wizard so to speak. While creating a potion she over adds a couple ingredients because her mind wonders. Thus leading to her death, sorta Wizen knows Adela isn't exactly dead just by the ingredients she [...]

    2. Mostly S&S and space operaI enjoyed the first book in this anthology enough that I plan to read the rest of the series. The rest simply weren't my style. Medieval style fantasy, space opera, and only the one urban fantasy/paranormal. If you like the sound of the story types, I am sure this anthology is well worth purchasing. I am just glad for the first story, because the rest didn't interest my particular tastes.

    3. A great set of authors and fantastic HeroinesI really enjoyed these novels. The authors were amazing. Each novel was unique and very complimentary with the other. I have my favorites, but overall an excellent read.

    4. I generally don’t review every story in a box set because if I don’t like one of two of the stories, it doesn’t affect opinions on the set as a whole. That is definitely the case in this box set. Generally, I really liked the books in this set. They were well-written, had terrific characters, and had engrossing plots.
