    1. (Full disclosure: My friend wrote this! But my opinions are my own.)An adorable and fluffy romance about quintessentially nice, kind people. There's a definite element of wish-fulfilment here, but in a good way: the conflict is limited, there is little doubt how the story can resolve, and it's comforting and fun - it's just such a pleasant read, with chemistry between the characters, quick pacing and a decent amount of female gaze. Alicia is likable and decisive and I was so glad to see her purs [...]

    2. If the last book was a 2.5, this one was a 3.5. There was better character depth in this one, and we got more of an actual plot. The slow burn was excellent. But it was too short to really flesh much out. And it seemed like it was missing a third act with conclusions: how did the fall out from the scandal affect them? Did the heroine ever admit her crush?Also, in the Kindle Unlimited version, it appears the first part of chapter four got re-pasted into the middle of the chapter.
