Take a confirmed bachelor, a bluestocking authoress, writing under a male pseudonym, and clients willing to disinterest their offspring on the advice of ghosts, and you have the recipe for a Recency Mystery and Romance! Add to the mixture Gypsies, a Marriage Ultimatum, and two highly intelligent and handsome individuals, and sparks will fly. It's a must read if you as enchanted with the [...]

    2. Regency Romance: The Gentleman’s Law on Love (A Wardington Park Book): The Elkins Brothers: Historical Romance by Eleanor Meyers is another intriguing tale of romance, love, ghost writers, intrigue and mystery. While, part of a continuating series, each book can be read as a stand alone. This is the story of Mr. Neil Elkin, one of the Elkins brothers, a very dull solicitor, but who is also, mysterious and elusive gentleman, and maybe not so dull, after all. He meets his perfect match with the e [...]

    4. Another wonderful romance by Ms. Meyers! Neil, a solicitor, meets Rebecca, the daughter of an earl, and they are instantly attracted to each other. Rebecca is a successful author (with a male pen name for anonymity) and is determined to ascertain the identity of a ghost for her latest book while at a house party in the country, which Neil also attends to assist his clients in solving the riddle of the resident ghost. The hijinks that ensue during their search for the ghost and their increasing a [...]

    5. Women's rights and men who loved them.I was very happy for this couple overall, to see women's rights interjected two hundred years early, reminded me of the women inRome,Greece, women in all Nations and classes had a quiet yet strong power. It was a bit long story and drawn out,I loved the Sherlock ,Watson roll reverse genderwise. It was a really funny story ,I found my self laughing out loud in publlic. That I would not give up in length of the book . Ty for such a well book.

    6. Historical Christian Fiction. 1850's London Society Romance novel that is clean. I read the whole series that was out by February 2017 during February 2017. I love the way the author introduced characters and the peripheral characters from the previous book become the main characters of the next. These are just fun, easy reads that all have different nuances to their stories.Book Order: 1. To Love a Lord of London2. The Regards of a Rogue3. Gaining the Gentleman4. The Skills of a Scoundrel5. A G [...]

    7. Exciting new mysterySo who is haunting the Phelps family? Rebecca is determined to find out and include the adventure in her new book, but Neil Elkins kid determined she is not. Who wins? Love never runs smooth! I loved seeing old friends and new ones in this book. And another ending I failed to figure out! I usually don't get surprised but t this one was a puzzler! Lovely read, you will enjoy Rebecca's adventures!

    8. I really like this series. It is clean, though with descriptive kissing scenes. This book is probably the most descriptive in the series and if the author goes any farther than I'm going to be done. The storyline is great, though this is the only book in the series where the characters don't end up married in the end, but engaged. The next book in the series doesn't come out until March 2017, which is a month away from when I'm writing this book, but I will definitely purchase it.

    9. The Gentleman's Law on Love (Wardington Park, Book 6)The love story of Rebecca and Neil. Rebecca is an author and Neil is a lawyer. Neil is hired to find out about a ghost and Rebecca want in to write the story. Can they find the ghost or will they find out someone is playing a bad joke? Great story.

    10. 3.5 starsI liked this book, but some areas were boring. I don't think the characters were the main focus of the story. There were quite a few errors. Some more bothersome than others. Hair was used in the place of heir.

    11. i don't get all the 5 star ratings on this book. the story was disjointed and didn't make much sense. Also the writing didn't feel right for the time period at all. Got half way through and just couldn't finish.

    12. Neil and Rebecca's story was wonderful! I loved the mystery surrounding the house and the ghost and them falling in love with each other while respecting how the other truly was. Neil's need to protect her at all costs was wonderful

    13. Great plotMore than just a great romance. I loved the mystery plot which brought this book a notch above the plain romance novel. Lovable characters! I hope there are more installments to come.

    14. Part of a series This is not a stand alone book. It is confusing and I don't recommend it unless you are prepared to read the whole series. I found the story choppy and there are many grammatical error. Disappointing read and I am not likely to read more of this series.

    15. Too sensualI've really enjoyed this series until I came to this book. The passion between the main characters was much too heated for a clean book. I also wish the author would add the order of the books into the titles.

    16. Really GreatThis was a good story of amusing intrigue in upper class homes. I liked the story of GUY and was curious about his twin and Ms. Meyers did not disappoint.

    17. SurprisingAnother good story by this author with a very good surprise ending. I can't wait to read more of her books

    18. Thank youThank you for the series books. Love to read continuing stories. Please write more series books. Thank you very much.

    19. A Party of LoveTwo couples found LOVE while attending the party to find a ghost. I was impressed with the love that was expressed by the many couples in the book.

    20. Good readGood mix of romance and mystery. Suspense kept you reading til you got to the very end. Will read more of her books definitely.

    21. Mismatch or perfect couple? It did not seem as if Rebecca and Neil would make a good match. He too traditional, she full of adventure and independence. It was fun to discover how they became a good match in the end.

    22. Confusing and not as good I have read others in the series and they are better. This is really confusing and mixes up characters and story elements.

    23. BEAUTIFUL STORYThis is the kind of book you love to read, as it makes you feel refreshed and happy. Thank you for some great characters and a superb storyline, Danny Scott.

    24. A pleasant enough storyEasy reading, interesting plot, fairly stereotypical characters. Might have got another star but for egregious spelling errors that speak to a need for editing, and some idiosyncratic language. I've been reading Regency for over 20 years and I've never read of parlour being called the "day" room and the correct address for the daughter of a peer is Lady Rebecca Garret, not Lady Garret.

    25. Did they edit this book?I love Eleanor Meyers' books. However, what happened to the editing? Ugh! Some instances I felt like I was reading responses from Facebook.

    26. More Time Spent We'll Reading Eleanor Meyer's NewestThis is the story of Neil Elkin. Twin brother to Guy. He's the quieter twin but is he that way because he's just quiet or he watching and cataloging everything for careful consideration. It's also Rebecca's story. She and Neil met at Guy and Anne's wedding and sparks immediately ignited. However Rebecca is a writer, a published writer under the name of Thomas Ludlow. She's writing a book she wants to publish as herself about the Phelps Phantom. [...]

    27. Eleanor Meyers has once again, proven herself a worthy writer of historical romances. I found myself dragged into her time period where society rules were difficult and frustrating. Especially, if love was in the equation. A certain way of etiquette was to be expected alwaysI found it funny, how both characters wanted more than anything to still be in each other's armsbut couldn't. Their struggles are sweet, enticing, and addictive. The writing style is entertaining. The plot engaged me in every [...]

    28. I just adore the Elkins' men. They are charming and handsome.Neil Elkin is a quiet lawyer. His first meeting with Lady Rebecca at his brother's wedding sets his heart a fire. Rebecca is an accomplished author, yet to be recognized, she has to write using a man's name. She is determined to write the story of the ghost Neil is chasing and wants Neil to be the hero in her book. He loudly refuses her. They continue to be thrown together at a country party. With each meeting, their passion increases. [...]
