    1. All I can say about this book is DONT READ!! the characters are boring one dimensional & the plot preposterous, the premise sounded so good but there was no build up chapter by chapter it was just a no brainer.

    2. Watch You Burn is the fourth instalment in the North East Police series but don't you worry for one second because this one can easily be read as a stand-alone!Edina Blaze is a Fire Investigator and really, with a name like that, how could she not do something related to fires? She's not having the most fantastic week ever. Someone keeps sneaking into her house, leaving notes and she can't figure out how this person is getting in. Then there's her ex-boyfriend Cam, who's not the nicest guy in th [...]

    3. I did a very naughty thing reading Watch You Burn, I stayed up till 2AM to finish it even though I knew I needed to get up early the next day! Once I started reading it I could just not put it down, it was seriously that good. I loved both main character, Kevin Lang and Edina Blaze (honestly how cool is her name) and the fact they weren't the usual detectives. Kevin Lang is a crime scene manager and Edina Blaze is a fire investigator (again how much more perfect is that name). The whole idea of [...]

    4. Kerry Wilkinson is an excellent author. Each book she releases just gets better and this one doesn’t disappoint. It is well written and grabs the reader from the first page and just keeps on giving. This book takes everything you thought you knew and understood about the people who commit murder and pulls it to bits in front of you.People are being burned alive and the Police are flummoxed. It is not clear if the cases are linked even the fire investigators are struggling to find evidence to li [...]

    5. Sped through the pages at a burning burning speed A blazing brilliant readEdina Blaze is a fire investigator finding it hard to for in with her crew after her ex Cam had done his best to make people see her in a different light. When she gets called out to a crime scene she bumps into a Kev who tiptoes around her after they had engaged in a brief fling .What Edina doesn't know though is her little sister Heather not only knew the young man who died in the fire but was involved with him. Then ther [...]

    6. donnasbookblog.wordpress/I thoroughly enjoyed this book!!  I loved the plot and the pace of the book was spot on.  The characters really grew on me and even when you did find out who was responsible it didn't detract from the story and you were still left with plenty of guessing about what would happen next.  Its quite a rollercoaster of a ride and I read it in a day.  I have read other books by this author and again she had done a brilliant job - 4 stars for this one from me. The book is av [...]

    7. This wonderful author has now got another best seller on her hands, she has a fantastic way with words. Her books are in depth, descriptive and highly captivating. She actually brings a book to life and in this one I was so engrossed from start to finish that I didn't want it to end but nonetheless I was eager to find out who was doing all the killings. If I could give this author more than a 5 ⭐️rating I would and I'd totally recommend it to any avid reader of crime scene books.

    8. OMG where have I been….I am finally jumping on the KA Richardson band wagon. After seeing such a stunning book cover I couldn't wait to get stuck into Watch You Burn and believe it or this is actually the first book that I have read by this author. After reading the prologue I have to say I was impressed and it made me think why have I never read any of this author's books before. I can see why she is such a popular author now. This is one hell of a pulse racing read. Kerry weaves a story that [...]

    9. Originally when I saw the synopsis for this, I made the amateur/rookie mistake of thinking ‘oh this is a novel focused on an arson case’. It is so much more than that! A multi-layered story focusing on all the characters within the novel. The novel is set in Darlington. I almost felt it was two unique stories, which merge together to form this impressive crime novel. The arson crime plot that involves Edina Blaze, member of the local Fire investigation team (FIT). DS Dan Slater and crime scen [...]

    10. I must have been reading a different book from the people who have given this one four or five stars. It's the worst book I've read this year and if there were an option for zero stars it would get it from me. The plotting is ludicrous. The protagonist, Edina, has a stalker threatening her; his fate is somehow forgotten about as the psycho ex-boyfriend turns up threatening her as well. Poor Edina is also caught up in not one, but two, arson events. The voice of the arsonist never rings true and [...]

    11. Even though this is part of the North East Police series all of the books are stand alone’s and do not need to be read in order. Either way you will want to read them once you start this series. This felt very different to the rest of the authors books. Where as most of the books are to do with the main characters in the force dealing with murder cases, this one heavily features on Edina Blaze and things going on in her personal life. Nothing wrong with that though as boy does she have an awful [...]

    12. Fire Investigator Ed(ina) has a creepy stalker whilst her sister Heather is bullied by Janelle. ‘She’ hates Janelle and wants to watch her burnIntroductionNorth East Police Series #4I love reconnecting with the North-East Police whose members almost feel like family to me, such as Detective Inspector Ali McKay. The friendly atmosphere and mutual looking out for each other are simply heartwarming. Not so for Edina (Ed) though, the former firefighter who now is a Fire Investigator. She feels s [...]

    13. I’ve been a fan of K A Richardson since her short story Escape, a 5* read that packed such an emotional punch in just a few short pages that I knew she was going to be an author destined for the bestseller list. Her North East Police Series has  been a big hit for me, all of the books can be read as standalone novels but they all have a connection. They remind me of the Karen Rose books where a character in a previous book crops up in other books in the linked series. Think thriller with a si [...]

    14. This is the first book I have read by this writer, I was kindly offered a place on the blog tour and because I know from previous experience how much I have enjoyed ‘Bloodhound’ books I readily agreed. Well, let me say straightaway I will be quickly catching up with Kerry’s other books if this one is anything to go by I have found myself another favourite author! It’s part of the North East Police series but I had no trouble reading it as a stand-alone. This book concentrates mainly on E [...]

    15. As if I was going to say anything other than OH MY FRIGGING GOD, Ms Richardson!!!How on Earth can someone so lovely have such ghastly tales in her head?!?!? Watch You Burn is book four in the North East Police series, although, it should probably be renamed the North East Emergency Services Series as each book focuses on a different department of those who put their lives on the line to save ours. And, as each book focuses on a different group of people you can read them out of order.Watch You [...]

    16. This is the first book by this author I have read, and it most definitely will not be the last! I am already looking forward to the next instalment in this series :)Edina Blaze is an ex-firefighter who now works as a Fire Investigator. Her work brings her in close contact with Kevin Lang and there are sparks between them that have nothing to do with fires! Their relationship is part of the story but this is first and foremost a police procedural - a gritty story that is quite dark in places and [...]

    17. I have read all of Ms Richardson's books and loved them. They get better and better and this is the cream of the crop. I wish I could give it more than 5 stars. As soon as you start reading her books you're enthralled and taken on a roller-coaster ride. All of Ms Richardson's books are set in the North East of England and deal with different aspects of the police. Her background of working within the police force make the books so real. The characters are so well drawn they immediately elicit stron [...]

    18. this book did not disappointis book deals with the concept of bullying with in the work place and with studentsere are so many twists and turns in this book you might get whip lash.Heather is being bullied by a group from school which continues onto university. Her small group of friends suffer so much abuse that in the end one of them snaps but which one is itHer sister Edina is a fire investigator and is being stalked. The perpetrator let's themselves into her home with no way of her knowing h [...]

    19. Another 5 star read from KA Richardson in her North East Police series. I love the now familiar characters that have been created in this series. This plot had some terrifying events and deaths. Just when I thought I had fathomed it all out there was yet another twist in the plot. Edina Blaze the fire officer investigating these horrendous events also has some frightening events going on in her personal life. A heart pounding read which I had no idea how it would end! Looking forward to the next [...]

    20. Another brilliant page turner from K.A Richardson! I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book from start to finish. It was so easy to get into, the storyline was gripping, the characters were equally likeable or despicable and the conclusion came to a good ending, with the possibility of a follow up from the remaining characters (hint, hint).

    21. Absolutely brilliantThis book deserves a ten not a five from me. I was gripped from start to finish. Lots of action that will keep you hanging on the edge. This author has never disappointed me I love all of her books. So lets see what is coming next. Cannot wait. Brilliant fantastic mind blowing reads they leave you wanting more.

    22. I only discovered KA Richardson this year and she's gone right up to my top 10 favourite authors I devoured all her books back to back in less than 2 weeks (lots of reading till the early hours) couldn't put them down and this is another 5 * read it kept me guessing all the way through filled with twists and heart racing moments this is KA Richardson at her very best!!!!

    23. This author just gets better and better. She draws you in from the first page and has you on the edge of your seat throughout. I love all of her books but this one is my favourite so far. Brilliantly written, fantastic story and a must read in my opinion.

    24. Disappointing. Good premise for the storyline, but the last half of the book was filled with life threatening situations that made me flick through the last several chapters as it was same old/same old.

    25. Excellent readFast paced exciting thriller. Well written with well rounded likeable characters. Once again the author has excelled. Couldn't put it down.

    26. This is a superb book, well written and with a fast pace. Well worth reading, I would recommend this to friends and family. Looking forward to the next one.
