    1. I expected this manga to be a little better than what it was. I loved Kitchen Princess, so I was hoping this would be as good as that one. Well, what can I say, this was not. The premise is promising - a girl who leads a double life. During the day Lili is a school girl known for her fortune telling ability and at night she is a detective called Spica, who solves crimes with the help of zodiac characters she's able summon. I really think the idea has potential. Execution, however, could be bette [...]

    2. I was liking Kitchen Princess so much that I just had to read Zodiac P.I too. I'm glad that I did. It is, of course, pretty silly. Lili solves improbably convoluted mysteries with the help of the spirits of the zodiac! But Lili is a fun character (I love her free running) and the other characters are also pretty fun to read. I like the art, of course. And unconvincing mysteries aside, I am enjoying reading it, enough to continue the series.

    3. I love when she's trying to keep her identity a secret from this kid and when he;s like "hey can u use your psychic powers to tell me the identity of SPICA, the mysterious detective with psychic powers??" she is like "NO I CANNOT" and jumps out a window (she does this 3 times)

    4. Talk about another blast from my teenage past! I loved Zodiac P.I. when I was in high school, as it combined detective stories with Western astrology, two things I've always loved. I will note that I find it interesting (now that I'm an adult, as I didn't consider it much when I was 15,) that Natsumi Ando wrote a series centered around Western astrology, where most manga would focus on the Chinese zodiac. Either way it's a fun read and there are lots of little blurbs and side notes concerning th [...]

    5. This was a manga that, for some reason, I avoided for years. I saw ads for it all the time in the backs of Tokyopop manga and thought it wasn't for me. I don't remember why that was the case, but I should have read this sooner. This is a strange mix of murder mystery and magical girl comedy, and for some reason, that works. See, most of the first volume is light-hearted, with Lili (though I suspect her name's supposed to be Riri from the shirt she wears on the cover) getting into weird trouble wi [...]

    6. This is a good example of what I often find difficult about reading manga. The artwork, which is supposed to be an aid to the story and to make the experience richer, can actually get in the way for me. In this book, for example, I had to work hard to tell the male characters apart. Lili's father really didn't seem any older than her friend from school. I knew who he was only because of his blond hair. The mysteries were short, but rather good, and it was interesting to watch Lili and Oikawa fig [...]

    7. If you really like mysteries and zodiacs, then I think you would really like this. It goes into a lot about different personalities depending on the person's zodiac although it only goes into the Western Zodiacs. I would really like it if they brought in other Zodiacs as well. Anyway, the stories are fun and act similar to Petshop of Horrors where there are a couple main characters but each story can be seen as individual story arcs. Each story is about two chapters long with the first setting u [...]

    8. terribly cute! more stories should be this cute and entertaining. honestly, who kills themselves by stabbing the back of their neck? i think if you were going that way, you would pick the side without bones. plus, i think most people would just break-up with a girlfriend who tries to kill you. 'she wants me dead, so i'll kill myself.' wow, so how does it feel to have had two boyfriends kill themselves? you can't exactly avenge suicide, idiot. a more appropriate revenge would have been to break h [...]

    9. I was in 5th/6th grade when my father bought this manga for me. He knew I loved detective stories and when he saw "P.I." in the cover he immediately thought I would love it. Well, guess what? He was right! I absolutely loved this manga, even up to now. As a young girl I could relate to Lili very well, with her feelings and concerns. Most 13-15 year olds would probably enjoy it too, especially the funny and romantic scenes between her and Hiromi!

    10. Eh. Maybe I'm not a manga person. I just found this extremely confusing. Rather interesting premises, but Hiro was OP mentally. Very OP. And the girl character (who . . . I can't remember the name of) was OP as to disguises. Or else everyone was extremely gullible. And the star thing was totally overrated. No. Just no.

    11. *Note: For the entire series*I was finally pulled into reading this by my sister.I guess there finally is a good reason for her to exist. (JK, luv ya Jess!!)AAAAHHHHHH I love HIRO!!!!!! So adorable.enough said.I recommend this for anyone who has a bit of room for fluff in their diet. Because this is the cutest manga I think I've ever read. Yayayayay for Z.P.I.!

    12. I liked this book and I also watched the anime. I liked it but I didn't love it. I was a book where if you read the first volume and then just skip one or two volume it would still make sense which I didn't like much. To me this meanings that there isn't much of a strong story line.

    13. A girl uses her knowledge of astrology and the stars to solve two mysterious murders.I really enjoyed this book!

    14. Lili that lucky girl! She gets to see her old childhood friend. I love how Lili actually solves crimes and cases and has her alibi as Spica P.I. Awesome!

    15. This is my third time reading this managa and i have to say that i still love the story line and the drawing in there. i will probably re-reading this series over and over again.

    16. I give it 3 stars because a light-year is a measure of distance, not time. -.- Silly manga, trying to dumb people down

    17. A cute mystery manga. Lili solves crimes by using people's horoscopes from the day as her alter ego Spica. It's quite a unique take on a familiar genre.
