    1. I typically enjoy any book dealing with prospecting as the setting but these stories were flat as a pancake. Not well written and at least one person in every story hits the mother lode and gets rich which in reality happened to less than one percent of the people who left for the gold fields. Grudgingly added to the rest of my mining books.
