    1. 20 years ago, these recipes would have seemed exotic to many Hummus, Peruvian potatoes, and Thai sweet-hot Duck. Not so much today. This is a fine little book, with splendid illustrations. The recipes are simple enough for even a beginning cook. Foodies will find it quaint.
