    1. I really loved this book except for one thing - it was too short but then all of the Harlequin Nocturne books are way too short. Very alpha male werewolf who needs to be taken down a peg or two by the woman he loves and then when he gets the girl he has the nerve to left half of himself want to throw her away when things happen that are beyond her control which in fact make it so that he could spend the rest of the 200+ year lifespan he has left. We first met Severo, our very alpha male, in Mich [...]

    2. Moon Kissed:Belladonna Reynolds loves to stay fit and being a flamenco dancer it comes with the territory, one night as she is jogging she runs into a bit of trouble in the form of three bloodthirsty vampires. Luckily she runs into an abandoned warehouse to hide and straight into the arms of Severo a werewolf. As Severo is holding her in his arms he realizes that the connections he feels to this woman can only mean one thing, that she is destined to be his mate. This is just the beginning as the [...]

    3. This is definitely not one of Michele Hauf's better books. I had read the series out of order starting with Her Vampire Husband and then read book 1. After enjoying both of those immensely, I was looking forward to finding out what the deal was with Severo. Instead I found a weak plot, poorly developed characters, and way too much cave man mentality. I'm certainly glad this was not the first book I had read by this author or I don't think I would pick up another book by her.

    4. Finished this book yesterday!! I absolutely loved the romance between Bella & Severo!!! Love vampires and werewolves!!!:-)

    5. First, I have to say that I think that Hauf is a very talented writer - I've read several of her books, and have enjoyed them all. For the most part, that holds true for this particular book. There was a lot of suspense, and given the description on the book's back cover, the reader goes into the story knowing that Bella will be attacked, and when that actually happens, the reader feels the horror, confusion, anger and pain felt by both Severo and Bella. Those feelings seem so genuine and organi [...]

    6. Blurb: There's a fine line between fear and desired between hatred and love Escaping from bloodthirsty vampires, Belladonna ran straight into the arms of a werewolf. As a man Severo drew her in with his dark good looks; as a beast he astounded her with his insatiable sensual appetite. Severo tried to keep Bella safe from the vampires who held a malicious desire for revenge against him, but he alone wasn't enough. Now Bella's taken the form of his most cursed enemy, how can he desire the very thi [...]

    7. 0stars!!! wtf is wrong with readers and the authors that this type of behavior is even acceptable much less sexy? I'm so disgusted right now I almost can't even write this review. in the less than ten pages I read the "hero" smacks his palm over the heroines mouth (because simply covering it would have been too easy?), patronizes her, threatens to rape her, then sexually assaults her before letting her go with the knowledge that he can and will find her to get her to payup for keeping three vamp [...]

    8. Severo's story and Bellahe saves a human woman, and can't let her go she adjusts to his dominance, accepts his wolf (she insists on meeting his wolf, though he is uncertain he can control the wolf), and his love of Anna/familiar that lived with him for 10 years; but Bella's best friend is seeing a vampiress - and she is jealous of Bella (Severo had saved her from her vampires) and the vampiress has it out for Severo - he'd killed her family in the early days of territory so she has her vengeance [...]

    9. Michele Hauf has an excellent talent for creating tension and conflict within her characters. This book begins by demonstrating that ability very quickly. This is the second book in this series and greatly improves over the first book. It continues with a minor character from The Highwayman who as a werewolf has lived for quite some time. In this story he meets a human with whom he falls in love. The story focuses on dealing with the past and overcoming your fears. The heroine is strong-willed a [...]

    10. Hero werewolf Severo will save Belladonna, Bella, from scary creatures that wants her. She is human but his wolf and he connects with her and will do anything on his power to keep her alive. But her can't watch her 24/7 because those creatures, vampires, will catch her and him unaware and one will make her turn a slow and painful. His his love outshine his hatred for vampires while his mate is one of will he let love rule over the bad

    12. I knew this book was going to have a lot more romance than action before I started it, so I was prepared. Sometimes I don't want all the romance but I was in that kind of mood now. It had a good twist in it and it had characters from Michele's other books that I thought were cool. Good romance read.

    13. Belladonna is running from three vampires and gets help from a werewolf. Severo saves her from being attacked but when he gets a whiff of her scent realizes that she is his mate. For some reason the vampires seem intent on getting to Belladonna. When they get to her and turn her into a vampire, Severo has to decide if he wants a mate that has taken the form of his hated enemy.

    15. Love the characters. And Michele writes AMAZINGLY HOT sex scenes! *fans self* Picked the book up the other night, thinking I'd read a couple chapters. Two hours past my bedtime later I had to force myself to put it down with only THREE CHAPTERS LEFT TO GO! READ THIS!! NOW!

    16. Wasn't bad, at all. You could tell what was going to happen by reading the back though, very predictable. Not one of the best books I've read, but it was okay.I liked the details in it. :)

    17. I enjoyed this. Not as much as other Hauf books I've read, but I still liked it. Review can be found here: amh-reviews/2014/
