    2. I didn't care too much for this one. It started off okay but drifted into the land of the snooze. The plot was boring with nothing special to hold your interest. In the end, I didn't buy into the hero falling in love and marrying the heroine in a week.

    3. In Italian Boss, Miss Prim, Katie Bannister had been studying to be an opera singer, but an unfortunate accident left her with a husky and deeper voice and scars that remind her of her misfortune every time she looks at them, with her dreams destroyed she decided to become a lawyer. Now she is the newest junior in an attorney’s office. She knows that no one there likes that she gets attached and feels too much empathy towards her clients, something that her bosses frown upon. So when there are [...]

    4. I liked this book! It was different than the usual formula, with showing the different flaws that the male lead had.

    5. Rigo Ruggiero must meet with the sexy voiced lawyer, Katie Bannister, for the reading of his estranged, late step-brother's will. Katie is plain and proper, with a husky voice that was the result of a fire while she was training to become an opera singer. No longer able to sing, aand wanting to hide the scars the fire left her, she becomes a lawyer. The plot might have been good, but this just felt slow. Not sure why katie would hide the scars, why Rigo was on the outs with his brother, why he hi [...]

    6. For the first 60 pages, I was fooled into thinking I was actually going to like this book. I'd forgotten the blurb at the beginning, where the author thanked Penny Jordan for being her mentor and encouraging her to write romanceI've just finished reading an old-school Harlequin, which perhaps made it easier for me to realize that's what confused me about this book - it felt very old-school, despite having been published post-2000. And including sex (view spoiler)[although possible not for the he [...]
