    1. I loved this one which surprised me because I couldn't figure out why Wynn created a novel with new characters when the existing ones storyline where as of yet unfinished. However it was good. Chad was just dreamy I also loved Bull and Rome. I have to admit like usual Tameka just was off balance and insecure she tried to cover it up with aggression but it's easy to see straight through it. One of my biggest complaints is that I didn't see any of the old player execpt for Alex, and Keisha and eve [...]

    2. It has been a little while since I read this book but here is what I recallI love the series!! Yummy romance involving shifters. Plenty of steamy action and a touch of humor!Definitely a series to get into! I started it and didn't stop until I reached the last book that was released! I am always looking for the next book!If you like steamy shifter romances this is a series to look into!!!!

    3. This was written very well. I have to admit, the beginning had me a bhit perturbedd I'm not giving it away, it was a bitdifficult to read and so I skipped it a bit. Got down to the meat of Tameka's and Chad's relationship and it was interesting. This feels like a book in a series? If so, I need to read the ones before this. But overall, it was an ok enough read.

    4. A very well-written book that deals with the inter-racial relationship between Tameka and a shape-shifter sheriff's deputy, one who is a novice at relationships but recognizes her as his true mate. The story is fun and has lots of ups and downs. Again, it is always fun to see how these very different individuals find their true selves while finding their true mates. Just a really fun read!

    5. Despite the hot but unbelievable beginning I love this book. It is my favorite of the True Mates Series. Chad manages to be adorably hot, sweet, sexy, and innocent. Tankea is one of the most well defined female characters in the series. I think the story could've done better without the "ghost" interludes, but I can't wait until her sister's story is published.

    6. I have come to love this series. Tameka's Smile was one of my favorite in this series. Each story is different and you learn a little bit more about the previous characters. I recommend this book and the series.

    7. I always like the sidestories more than the main plot. Bull and NeCee is so funny and cute. Are they going to be together? Are they true mates? I thought you just know it when you meet them but there wasn't any indication of it with Bull. Don't tell me she's not, they seem to hit it right off the start. Now off with Tameka and Chad. The first scene was the most awesome first sight ever!!!! I mean that was freaking awesome. But when they progressed after that, Chad is all weird. Maybe because he [...]

    8. This was an interesting read from the very beginning. I have to admit that I was torn about how to feel about Chad taking advantage of Tameka during their first encounter. As the book went on though, it was obvious that his feelings for her were deeper than physical attraction. If Chad was not a shifter his possessiveness would have been scary but in this context it was very romantic.I enjoyed the suspense in the story as well with Chad having to protect his mate from danger. The family aspect o [...]

    9. I am really enjoying this series! Very well-written, great characters, and interesting, enjoyable plot. True MatesMary and the BearNikolai's WolfTameka's Smile

    10. It's a classic werewolf story about a man who finds his soulmate and is ready to do anything for her. He'll fight to tame her, fight to protect her but most importantly fight for her love. Spoiler alertOne of my favorite scenes in the book is when Tameka holds him after he witnesses something awful as a police officer. It was beautiful and touching. Also, his lack of control is too hot read so ladies you better prepare yourself for some cold showers :P I, really enjoyed the book and recommend it [...]

    11. Tameka's smile by Zena Wynn was chosen by my book club and the book was great from start to finish. This book had me wishing Chad would be my deputy. Tameka's Smile had everything in this book: passion, romance, lust, anger, hate, mystery, drama, intrigue. I am going to read more of Zena Wynn books.

    12. I really enjoy this novel it had some funny character that bull and nee cee are so silly i can't wait until there novel come out so far i don't know i also like shayla and rory in then Nikolais wolf once i read both novel then i will decide which characters i like the best.

    13. This is my most favorite book I have read thus far. It had me hooked from the beginning. I loved when he body searched her and later shows up at her house and walks in. Funny. I could read this book over and over and I am usually not one to do that.

    14. Well I definately loved this story and to be honest sometime in the near future I think a story should come out about Bull. It would be great to find out

    15. This is the 4th book in the True Mates series by Zena Wynn and it is a very well written book. I love this series of books on werewolves and other shifters.

    16. 3.5 stars: spicy and sweet shapeshifter romanceChad is a sheriff's deputy in Refuge, the small NC mountain town that consists mostly of shapeshifters. A wolf shifter, he grew up in foster care without the support of a pack and later went into the military. Previously a lone wolf, he recently joined the local pack. He is stunned at his attraction to Tameka and wants to make her his mate. After the death of her grandmother, Tameka moves into her grandmother's old home and finds work as a hairdresse [...]

    17. Meh, this was ok. To be honest I'd ALMOST give it a three, but since there aren't any half or quarter stars, a two is what I'll go with. Done rounding up lol.Another case of a hero who ends up coming across as too good for the heroine. Don't get me wrong, Tameka is no Royal/Dmitri's Closet, but she's not exactly a rocket scientist either when it comes to relationship appreciation. Some things had me scratching my head as to why the author chose to go there (view spoiler)[(at one point, this man [...]

    18. I was ok with this one. I liked the story, but like the first book in the series, the relationship is really rushed. I don't like that as soon as the meet it's super sexual. Like, he just showed up after he had only met her once (by pulling over her car and fingering her) and brought Chinese food and let himself right on in. She didn't freak out, just hung out with him. It's a little creepy. I liked the sister though, she seemed a little more realistic in her reactions towards Bull (whom I also [...]

    19. Disappointed in this book, and quite frankly shocked it had such high ratings which is what had my hopes up in the first place.Despite being hot the opening scene is just sudden and unbelievable even for this genre. New random characters are introduced (when the last book left us hanging with an unfinished storyline) I couldn't take to either of the main characters and I'm not sure whether it was the contradictions in how they were portrayed or just the haste of the storyline in general. This ser [...]

    20. First thoughts on this one?Opening scene is RAAAAAPE.I forgot how much this series tends to do that. However, I still really like the series once I remember not to judge them by human standards etc. Shifter. Mate. Bite. Mine. that's all they really think.I rather liked this one. Both Chad and Tameka were interesting. I didn't get annoyed at either of them at all really.Bull is going to be fun when it is time for his story. NeeCee well, I feel bad for not being able to take the name seriously. But [...]

    21. I really like the True Mates series. The previous ones I read a couple of years ago, and I never got to reading this one. Whenever I read the summary of this book, it didn't mention that the "old" characters would come back in this book, and I guess that's the reason why I kept putting the reading of this book off for so long. This book stands more alone from the other ones in the series. We also get to know new characters. Apart from the romance, there was also a mystery story, where again the [...]

    22. I really like this book. The beginning was surprising (and enjoyable), to say the least. I love the hero's personality. He manages to be a true Alpha male and sweet at the same time. I like Tameka's attitude and how even though she has reservations it didn't turn into gratuitous resistance as a means to keep the story going. Tameka's concerns were valid, she comes to turns with them, and lo and behold, there is still a story left once the hero and heroine work out their relationship issues.

    23. I really enjoyed this book, I didn't know it was part of a series when I stumbled on it so I will have to go back and read the rest.I have to say even though it was steamy, I find it hard to beleive the beginning of it all. Oh well, that's fiction I guess. It also had a decent story to go with all that steamy love makin'.

    24. I jumped the third book, the blurb didn't captured my attention, I'm not interested in reading it. Maybe sometime in the future. In the opening scene I was likewhat the helland she let him threat her like that? But it got better, it was a good read. Loved the relationship between Chad and Tameka. I'm really looking forward to read more about Bull

    25. I was kind of blind sided with this book. All of a sudden this random girl just shows up. She was not in any of the previous books, nor mentioned. Then we have this hot deputy cop that felt her up on the side of the road and all of a sudden I'm panting. hah. It was a pretty damn good read. I didn't love it but I did think it was awesome for most parts.

    26. I liked this installment of the series. The pairing was interesting and the story overall was a bit more erotic. Although some of the character actions were odd and unrealistic. Overall a decent quick read.

    27. Great book…after you get pass the beginning. Do not stop after you read it ! Just think of the beginning as a bad cover and rush over it to get to the good part of the novel. Overall, excluding the ludicrous beginning, it was a great read.
