    7. Incredible poet writing about an incredible time. I am searching for the other two volumes in his worktely a must read poet for me. I will be going back to this volume again and again. More thorough review will come when I know him better.

    8. zurita writes beautifully and has been beautifully translated into english by anna deeny. the work is heavy, grave, full of gravity. the poems are intense. tread cautiously into this landscape of violence and love.

    9. Some of the beauty may be lost in translation, but there are some gorgeous lines. A tad too much repetition for me so far, but I just cracked it open.
