    1. Perfect series for introducing mythology to a child because each spread tells a "chapter" in a succinct way, with illustrations that complement the most important parts and sidebars with worthy discussion point questions. While there is some violence depicted, it's a necessary component of the tale, and it's not scary, even for my preschooler. Also pairs awesomely with the fantastic classic movie that shows such awesome early special effects.

    2. Although the illustrations are very well done, it's the senseless violence that bothers me with this book. With no main theme except killing to gain, I see no use for this book unless you enjoy senseless violence. If this is education, I'd rather stay stupid.

    3. A little too boring for my 5 yr old son who is named Jason. I'll try to reintroduce it to him at an older age.
