    1. 5 Safe Harbor Stars I do on occasion read PAPERBACKS… OMG I know what a shocker. This is probably my most memorable read by this author. I read it back in 2015? I believe and it has been one of those books that just pop’s in to your head from time to time. Well I got the paperback for Christmas this past year and well this week it just called to me. It’s a MMF book, if you don’t know what that mean, Male ON Male ON Female. It is also a BDSM book – Mater/slave Clarisse for me has always [...]

    2. Absolutely one of my favorite m/m/f books ever! There was so much depth to the story and characters. Mac and Sully were an incredible pair and what a dynamic relationship - wow! I've read plenty of D/s books because I happen to love that genre, but this one had some very unique elements - in particular, the combination of the 24/7 nature of the relationship with the formal use of the names "Master" and "slave" (along with "Sir" and "pet/girl"). There were some more hard core BDSM elements in the [...]

    3. Always meant to read this book, so because it was a BOM this month, I indulged. I've enjoyed previous books (Love Slave for Two, Love at First Bight etc), and not-so-much liked others (Triple the Trouble series) so I was a little hesitant about Safe Harbour.Needn't have worried of course !! This was a brilliant menage, with each of the MC's having their own quirks and characteristics, and they gelled together really well. I thought Clarisse may have turned into a TSTL heroine, what with all she [...]

    4. This was one of my first BDSM books and definitely my first erotica with a homosexual aspect to it. Overall, I thought the writing was pretty good! I really got into the story and had empathy and sympathy for the characters. I'm not for sure that the relationship between Mac and Clarisse was fully fleshed out (pardon the pun!). I feel like one minute, she sees him and Sully having sex and then the next minute, she thinks she's in love with Mac. Maybe my Kindle had a glitch and I missed something [...]

    5. Having recently inhaled my first Tymber Dalton book, I knew I'd have to take a look at her backlist, and, knowing me, probably inhale that, also. It didn't take me long after starting 'Safe Harbor' to realize that this was going to be a fantastic book, and the author was going to take it into a direction I wasn't expecting from the blurb I read.It was no surprise, to me, that Clarisse brought out all of Sully and Mac's protective instincts. She brought out mine, and made my heart hurt for all th [...]

    6. After I finished this book, I really wanted to write a long, full review, but I just never got a chance to. And now that it's a month later I don't remember enough details to do my typical type of review, but I still wanted to write what a could.Summary:Clarisse is on the run from her abusive ex. She believes he intends to kill her so she embarks on a cross-country trip to the one place she may be safe: her uncle's fishing boat. She arrives, falls asleep, and when she wakes up, she finds to stra [...]

    7. Another great read from TD. Her books seem to have the perfect story to sex ratio for me. Plus, I'm a sucker for characters with real life issues. (Lol) I love the way BDSM is portrayed in this one. A lot of the BDSM I read (not all) either has wrong facts or everything 100% perfect like there's a rule book you must follow. Which isn't the case, everyone lives or plays it differently. This story is a great example of that. The way these three practice BDSM reminds me of how I see it done amongst [...]

    8. 3.5 StarsHmmm. First things first, I like Tymber Dalton's stories. She writes some really hot, smexy scenes. Her characters are endearing. I am sometimes a little irked with the female character (if there is one) and this book was no different. But all in all, Clarisse wasn't bad. I enjoyed both Mac's and Sully's characters. And, I liked that Mac and Sully's relationship didn't take a back seat to Clarisse. The book's ending was pretty intense ((view spoiler)[Mac was seriously hurt! I was squeezi [...]

    9. Safe harborUpdate Aug 2017 3rd read this year - there is just something about this book that I love. I think its all that she has to go through. To me, she id by far one of the strongest woman I have ever read in a story, even though she has gone though so much.So I just got done reading this for a second time. There is just something about these three that I fell in love with. I think it might have been the way all of them ended up getting together. The unlikely hood of mac and sul and how they [...]

    10. This was just an OK read for meI felt like I was reading Love Slave for Two again. I found the plots way too similar.Clarissa gets taken in by Mac and Sully after her boyfriend beats the crap out of her. They take care of her and convince he to stay with them. Clarissa is a wreck and it takes her a while to trust her new friends. Her multiple emotional outbursts didn't really ring true to me. I also struggled to feel a real connection between these 3. It just seemed forced and choppy. The whole [...]

    11. Fan of Tymber Dalton. Her plots follow predictable rules. Ms. Dalton's writing style is fluid and fun. Enjoyable read. As expected, her sex scenes are delivered hot and steamy. Great read. My husband appreciated it. :)

    12. As usual, TD does a great job in her storytelling abilities. This story almost had a little bit of a Love Slave for Two flavor to it. Two men, already partners, falling for the female, saving her and including her in their lives. These two men were wonderful and very loving. The big difference to me was that in LSF2 the men were totally focused on Nevvie. She is the center of their world. This story seemed to really nail home how devoted these men were to each other. Clarisse seemed to be the "3 [...]

    13. 4.5 Stars Wow! This is a steamy little numberThis story contains a few things that fall under the 'not my kink' umbrella - The Master/slave dynamic and being into or needing pain, but the way it was written, I could relate to it more than I have probably ever been able to relate in other books containing the same themes.I really appreciated the development of the relationships between Mac, Sully and Clarisse. This is a book about menage, so if that's not your kink, wellwhy not? Lol!I thought it [...]

    14. Not my favorite from Dalton and will probably not be a re-read. I liked the story ok. The characters were not annoying, but I also didnt take to any of them either. I didnt mind the predictable-ness of it either, it just fell flat for some reason. Even with the characters highly emotional back stories it still did not pull me in that much. I always love menage. So naturally, I had no problems with the sex scenes. They were hot as always but not her best work. (view spoiler)[ I thought the two we [...]

    15. Amazing. Loved every second of it! I laughed, cried, and smiled. What a journey. The characters were so rich and well drawn I just got them completely. Sully and Mac are a masterpiece - I was just like Clarisse with hurry up already! The sex is smoking hot but the love that binds is even stronger. VERY highly recommended!

    16. I've recently re-read Safe Harbor by Tymber Dalton as I thought I would post reviews of some of my favourite books. Safe Harbor is book one of Ms Dalton's fabulous Suncoast Society and is a big favourite of mine. This was the first book I had read by Tymber Dalton and I have since become addicted to her smouldering tales of love, domination and submission. I love M/M/F dynamics, especially if combined with BDSM elements, and this is one of the best M/M/F books I've read.We first meet Clarisse wh [...]

    17. This story is mainly about the everyday life within the BDSM lifestyle. It comes off as very normal, very natural, and psychologically valid. More than about sex, this story is actually about the dynamic between the three main characters. Clarisse is a woman brutalized by her ex, and ends up hiding on a boat she assumed still belonged to a relative. But in fact the boat has new owners. Sully is the Master, Mac is the slave, and they are very deeply in love with each other, each one with differen [...]

    19. This was more of a 3.5 for me. Though the story was enjoyable I just could not get into the characters. So much of their interaction felt forced. I loved the two male characters together but throwing Clarisse in didn't work for me at first for a few reasons. One thing is that she was so irrationally against Sully for no valid reason and was childish for way too long which pissed me off. She falls for Mac instantly and it felt like she just wanted to come between them but realized she couldn't ha [...]

    20. REALLY 4.5 STARSI had Safe Harbor in my TBR pile for too long, thank goodness I got around to reading it because it's a terrific BDSM/menage read.I really loved the 3 MC's, but particularly Sully and Mac, they were so good together. Clarisse took a while to come around and to get into the loving aspect of their relationship which, given her background, was perfectly written. When they finally got together as a threesome it was smooth sailing (pardon the pun).Really lovable characters - check, we [...]

    21. Excellent writing of BDSM relationship. I think this may be better than Cherise Sinclair.I really enjoyed the characters, the diverse sexual situations, and the dynamic relationships. I think some people may not be comfortable with the three-way relationship, but she made it believable. My biggest objection was the lack of romance. Of falling in love. The budding relationship. They meet the girl and then it is a month later and they're in love. What made them like her so much? They describe how t [...]

    22. It was a sweet BDSM romance that didn't make me puke!A predicable but nicely told story. Kudos to Ms Dalton for not letting Clarisse turn Mac and Sully's relationship upside down. They let her become part of their lives and they love her but made clear that Mac will always be the first one for Sully and vice versa. I liked that there isn’t even a hint of possibility that one day it could be only Mac and Clarisse or Sully and Clarisse. It was really refreshing that once told about their relatio [...]

    23. It took me a while to write this review because what can I sayexcept that Tymber is a rockin author!! I truly believe that she was put on this earth to be an author. She has great flow to her writing and I seem to get lost in the story whenever I start one. I can't wait to read more of the Suncoast Society Series! This is a m/m/f story. The characters were beautiful in this story of love, compassion and ultimately learning to trust completely. There is just enough humor to keep this story real. M [...]

    24. Well, it's a Tymber Dalton book so of course it was good. Her writing is always good especially in the erotica genre. This isn't my favorite book of her's, that will always be The Reluctant Dom but I did enjoy this story. This wasn't a tear jearker for me but I did enjoy the characters. I kinda felt bad for Sully or at least I would have enjoyed getting to read more one on one time with Sully and Clarisse. Almost all the one on one was with Clarisse and Mac or Sully and Mac. Overall, a recommend [...]

    25. If i was the kind of person who would cry while reading this book would have caused me to use some kleenex. I thought the begining was very detailed and full of character development was very slow and left me wondering if I could get through it. Around half way through that all changed and the book took off and was an amazing story about loyalty, trust, love, compassion and acceptance. It was wot=rth the wait.

    26. LOVE IT!This is nowhere near my first BDSM, ménage, m/m/f book, but it was so much better than some books that I have read in the past. This is the first book that I have read by this author, but if her other books are as good as this one, I will definitely will be reading more.Full review to come.

    27. A great read. Plenty of action both in and out of the bedroom. Enjoyed all the dynamics - Clarisse & Mac; Clarisse & Sul; Clarisse Sul and Mac but my favourite was definitely Sul and Mac together.Had a wee problem with Sully wanting to tie the knot before having sex - the reason didn't sit that well with me.

    28. Honestly? I loved this book. The relationship between Sulley and Mac was beautiful and I think when they added Clarisse it just perfected that beauty. The best for me is that it wasn't an instant relationship for the three, they worked for it. And they had some great sex once everything was worked out for them all.

    29. this was very good i found i really liked the characters ahd how they really love and care about each other. perhaps there was not as much hot kinky sex as i had anticipated, but there was still a good amount in this story that revolves around this m/m relationship, which eventually becomes a m/m/f relationship. it was good and was a page turner, i really enjoyed it.
