During this book they come across some trouble. you could say that in the end it all works out but they loose some important people along the way. I really did like this book, an i defiantly helped my to understand how life was in the sixties, but [...]

    3. This book was not the best book in the world, but it most definitely taught me a lesson in life. The Outsiders is about two weeks in the life of a 14-year-old boy. The novel tells the story of Pony-boy Curtis and his struggles with right and wrong in a society in which he believes that he is an outsider. The story opens with Pony walking home alone from a movie; he is stopped by a gang of Soc's who proceed to beat him up. The Soc's badly injure and threaten to kill Pony-boy; however, some of his [...]

    4. Such a great YA book. Even though the action occured decades ago, it is still absolutely relavant. Pony-Boy, Sodapop, Dallas may be from the 60's but they are still walking around today. Amazing that Hinton started writing this AT FIFTEEN.
