    1. I am not really sure what Erikson is doing here. Each chapter offers a look at what Erikson believes is a "traumatized" community, yet he often provides more background information leading up to the "trauma" than talking about the trauma itself. He uses the phrase "the look of trauma" quite often, but never really explains what he means by it. The best chapter is about the Homeless as a traumatized community---here he offered some ideas that were interesting.

    2. I have to read for school. Very wordy but conveys his meaning through words to a reader who might not deal with these types of issues.
